圓葉毛氈苔（Drosera rotundifolia）是分佈於北半球最廣泛的毛氈苔，在歐洲、北亞、北美和日本都有自生。圓形葉片（蓮座狀）是其特徵，種名rotundifolia意為「圓形葉片的」。在日本，自生於北海道、本州的高山濕地和泥炭地，但由於自生地減少，某些地區需要保護。葉片上的腺毛分泌發光粘液以捕捉小昆蟲，葉片會捲曲來消化。耐寒性強，冬季地上部枯萎，形成冬芽（Hibernaculum）休眠。栽培時使用濕潤的水苔或泥炭土加珍珠岩，採用腰部給水法，使用純水或雨水。喜歡強直射光線和冷涼環境。對高溫敏感，因此夏季管理需特別注意。
