文心蘭（Oncidium）是分布於中南美洲至熱帶和亞熱帶美洲的蘭科大屬，約有370種。著生於墨西哥、中美洲、加勒比海及阿根廷北部的熱帶雨林和乾燥岩地，具有假鱗莖，葉片堅硬呈革質。細長的花莖上綻放著大量小花，花朵迎風搖曳如舞者般優雅，因此得名「Dancing Lady Orchid」。花色以黃色為主調，常伴有褐色和紅色的斑紋，其中唇瓣特別大而醒目。根據品種不同，花期從春季至秋季都有。管理上喜愛明亮的間接光照，適應高溫高濕環境。溫度應保持15℃以上，採用樹皮和水苔植栽。生長期應充分澆水，秋冬季節保持略乾燥並提供溫度變化以促進花芽分化。由於雜交品種豐富且易於栽培，因此在世界各地廣受歡迎。
