火焰蘭（Renanthera）分布於中國、喜馬拉雅山、東南亞、新幾內亞及美拉尼西亞，是一種大型的單軸型著生蘭。莖部長而伸展，如藤蔓般舒展開來，株高可達50～100cm。花朵小至中等，具有鮮豔的紅、橙、黃色彩，花莖上綻放眾多房狀花朵。常用於切花及與萬代蘭雜交（如火焰萬代蘭等）。花期主要在春至夏季。管理需要極其強烈的光線（可直射日光），並喜好高溫多濕的環境（溫度20～35℃）。適合採用懸掛栽培或在大型盆中以樹皮介質植栽，方式同萬代蘭。每日澆水與定期施肥至為重要。只要能提供強光和熱帶環境，便可欣賞這屬蘭花的華麗花姿。
