What is Grower Verification?
At Botachoku, we require verification for all growers. This system protects buyers' safety and creates a trustworthy transaction environment.
In plant transactions, it's essential for buyers to feel secure when bringing plants home. Through grower verification, we confirm cultivation knowledge, management capability, and legal compliance, maintaining the platform's overall quality.

Verification Process
Grower verification is completed in the following 3 steps.
Grower Registration
Create an account and submit your grower application in one step from the grower registration page. You can register with an email address. Enter basic information such as your business name, categories you handle, and prefecture.
Document Review
Our team reviews your application and documents. Typically completed within 1 business day.
Verification & Stripe Setup
Once approved, you receive a verified badge and can start listing. Stripe Connect registration (free, takes minutes) is required to receive online payments.

- Track record as a grower (cultivation history, propagation results, etc.)
- Overview of your growing facility (photos preferred)
Recommended Documents (Optional)
- Photos of your growing environment(growing area, greenhouse, shelves, etc.)
- Information on the main varieties/lines you handle
- Your cultivation and propagation history

Yes, you can update information from your dashboard. However, changes to critical information such as your business name or categories may require re-review.
Q. Can verification be revoked?
We may revoke verification in cases of violation of terms of service, false information registration, or serious complaints from buyers. We will always confirm with the grower before revocation.
