  1. 1Prepare a pot and saucer, check the size

Setup Steps

  1. 1Choose a breathable pot (slit pot or terracotta)
  2. 2Add pumice or coarse grit at the bottom
  3. 3Mix and add a free-draining substrate
  4. 4Plant and spread the roots to anchor
  5. 5Top-dress with decorative grit (e.g. hyuga pumice)
  6. 6Hold off watering for a few days to settle the roots
