比弗納里亞（Bifrenaria）分佈於巴拿馬、千里達和南美洲，共有20個種。巴西是分佈的中心，著生於大西洋岸的森林和山地岩石上。株高15～30厘米，具有棱角分明的四方形假球莖，每株長有1片厚實的革質葉。花朵碩大（花徑5～8厘米），白色至奶油色的花瓣配以深粉紅至紫色的毛茸茸脣瓣，印象深刻。散發濃烈的辛香氣味。花期主要在春季（4～6月），每花莖開出2～4朵花。栽培管理非常強健易於養護，適合明亮間接光至較強間接光，溫度15～28℃。用樹皮和火山石透水良好地種植，生長期適度澆水，冬季控制澆水並置於低溫（約10℃）環境下可促進花芽分化。
