中間卡特利亞蘭（Cattleya intermedia）是著生於巴西南部（聖保羅州至南大河州）岩石和樹木上的原生卡特利亞蘭。株高20〜40cm，具有雙葉假鱗莖。花徑8〜13cm，花瓣為白色至淺粉紅色或薰衣草色，唇瓣呈粉紅至紫色，十分美麗，每株開花2〜6朵。花期為春至初夏（南半球10〜12月；日本4〜6月）。最大特徵是色彩變異非常豐富，具有斑紋型（帶斑紋）、蔚藍色型（帶藍色調）、白化型（純白）、藍色型等多種色彩變異。管理上喜好相對涼爽（12〜30℃）的環境，基本養護需提供明亮間接光，並使用樹皮和輕石植料。乾季（冬季）控制澆水可促進花芽形成。由於色彩變異豐富，這是蘭花收藏家特別鍾愛的原生種。
