古巴珍珠草（Hemianthus callitrichoides，簡稱HC）屬於母草科的極小型水草，自生於加勒比海諸島（巴哈馬、古巴、伊斯帕尼奧拉島、牙買加、波多黎各）。是世界上最小的被子植物之一，葉片直徑約1毫米。在水族箱中被認為是終極的前景地毯植物，細小的葉片密集交織形成的綠色地毯在水景比賽作品中獲得高度評價。高光照和CO2強制添加是必須條件，如果這些條件不完備會逐漸衰退。生根至底床是最困難的部分，水溫和肥料管理也很重要。難度與美麗並存的高手級前景草之巔。
