紅龍蘭（Rotala macrandra）是原產於印度的千屈菜科莖生水草，又稱「水草皇后」，以其深紅色葉片優美而著稱，屬高難度種。需要強光照、強制CO2添加、軟水水質與含鐵液肥的定期施肥，才能展現出美麗的紅色。若光照、CO2、營養任一不足，葉片會變小或呈現綠色，美觀度下降。需定期修剪，並通過插繁增加密度。最適水溫為24～26℃，偏好微軟水～軟水（GH值4以下）。市面上也流通著葉片寬大飄揚的「紅龍蘭綠色型」「寬葉型」等品種。是進階水族館愛好者最愛的後景紅色點綴，堪稱最高峰。
