福建茶

福建茶（Fukien Tea）屬茜草科（或另說為紫草科）的常綠灌木，原產於中國南部（福建省等）、台灣及東南亞。學名為Carmona retusa（或Ehretia microphylla）。葉片細小、有光澤的橢圓形，密集分布；全年不斷開出白色小花，隨後轉為紅至黑色的小果實。作為常綠樹種，能同時欣賞花與果實的特徵非常罕見。在盆栽藝術中，纖細的枝條分岔、細小的葉片、花卉與果實齊全的觀賞價值在全球盆栽愛好者間備受歡迎。特別是在東南亞和歐美市場廣受歡迎，作為室內熱帶盆栽廣泛流通。樹幹形成灰褐色樹皮，上面有細微裂紋，容易呈現蒼古感。管理上喜歡明亮的光照，偏好高溫高濕環境。理想最低溫度應維持在10～15℃，在日本冬季需要室內管理。澆水方面，因怕乾旱應經常澆水。換盆宜每2～3年進行一次，春季最為適宜。
