杜松
適合中級Juniperus rigida
具有銳利針狀葉片的日本原產杜松。質感粗糙，異於真柏。從小品到大型盆景皆可廣泛欣賞。在舍利與神枝（枯木技法）的展現上亦見長。

杜松是柏科刺柏屬（或圓柏屬）的常綠針葉樹，自生於日本各地的沿海及丘陵地。學名為Juniperus rigida。三根尖銳堅硬的針狀葉輪生，觸之刺痛為特徵。幹呈褐色纖維狀剝落，粗糙樹皮彰顯盆景之氣韻。相較真柏，葉片粗糙、力感更強，樹齡越高形態越動感。盆景造型可塑性強，可製作斜幹、懸崖、模樣木等多樣樹形。如真柏般，舍利與神枝技法得以充分展現，白骨化幹肌與綠葉對比鮮明。管理宜置於戶外日照充足、通風良好處，亦可耐受半日陰。澆水宜偏乾，過濕易導致根腐。生命力強，病蟲害抵抗力較強，適合盆景初學者栽培。修剪與芽摘自春至秋進行。
