介殻蟲附著在莖葉上吸取汁液，這是一種外觀呈貝殼狀的害蟲。排泄物（甘露）有時會引發煤污病，造成外觀損傷和植株衰弱。
主要症狀
- 莖葉上可能出現褐色、白色或灰色的固著粒狀物。
- 葉片和莖可能出現黏滑的手感（甘露沾附）。
- 葉面可能出現黑色煤灰狀污漬（煤污病）。
- 葉片可能黃化、落葉，導致整株衰弱。
主要原因
- 混入新購買植物或土壤中的成蟲或幼蟲。
- 室內通風不良環境中大量增殖。
- 密植導致株間距離狹窄且缺乏天敵。
- 因葉面觀察不足導致發現延遲而蔓延。
預防（栽培環境與日常管理）
定期觀察莖葉背面，以便及早發現。新購買的植株應隔離後再與其他植物並放。避免密植，放置在通風良好的位置。
