- Lifespan
- 20+ years
- Size
- Vine 50-200cm
- Temperature
- 10〜25℃
- Watering
- Insects, small animals
- Temperature & Overwintering
- A highland species grown at 10-25°C. Keep days at 20-25°C and nights at 10-15°C; a clear day-night difference keeps it healthy.
- Soil & Repotting
- Use pure sphagnum moss. To prevent root rot, pot loosely so air can reach the roots.
- Watering
- Water with pure or rain water so the sphagnum stays lightly moist. Standing the pot in water leads to root rot.
- Light & Placement
- Likes bright light, but strong direct sun scorches the leaves. Place it under shade cloth with good airflow.
- Pests & Cautions
- Sensitive to heat and stuffy air; when temperatures rise, night cooling and ventilation are essential. Difficult to grow in an ordinary home.
- Pruning & Shaping
- Vines reach 50-200 cm. Cut back overly long vines to encourage side shoots and keep the plant compact.
