Are you growing carnivorous plants?

Growing Difficulty: Intermediate
Lifespan: 10-20 years
Size: 5-10cm
Watering: Insects (auto-capture)
Light & Placement: Grow it in strong direct sun. The trap interior stays green even with ample light, so do not judge light levels by color.
Watering: Tray-water to keep it constantly moist, using only pure or rain water. Never use tap water and never let the tray dry out.
Soil & Repotting: Use pure sphagnum or peat moss with perlite, and never fertilize. It forms a compact plant about 5-10 cm across.
Dormancy Care: Let it go dormant at 5-10°C in winter. The top may die back, but the bulb lives; keep the tray shallow and wait for spring.
Pests & Cautions: Traps close only a limited number of times, so do not trigger them by hand. Feeding is unnecessary; fertilizer and tap water are the usual killers.
