壶状猪笼草（Nepenthes ampullaria）是广泛分布于婆罗洲、苏门答腊、马来半岛、新几内亚等地的低地猪笼草。最大的特点是瓶子以莲座状紧密排列在地面附近。盖子大而开放，已进化成易于接收落叶的形状，除了昆虫外，还能从分解中的落叶中获取氮素，具有腐生植物的特性。不耐低温，适宜的栽培温度为20~35℃。喜爱高温和高湿，理想湿度为70~90%。基质以水苔为主，也可采用浸根管理。使用纯水或雨水。由于其瓶子紧密分布于地面的独特外观和独特的食性，被视为与其他猪笼草迥然不同的个性物种而受欢迎。
