巨型捕虫堇（Pinguicula gigantea）是自生于墨西哥（瓦哈卡州）石灰岩悬崖和溪流附近的世界上最大的捕虫堇。成熟个体的莲座形直径可超过30厘米，其宽大的叶片表面分泌的粘液能捕获大量小昆虫。花为淡紫～白色、较小，但叶片的大小和数量都令人印象深刻。栽培应使用含石灰质的弱碱性～中性培养土（石灰砂+珍珠岩等），基本浇水方法是从上方浇水，待干后再浇。严禁过湿。适合用纯水或略显硬度的水。光照应为明亮的间接光～弱直射光。适宜温度为15～25℃的凉爽环境。冬季可能会转变为休眠叶。作为世界上最大的捕虫堇，在收藏家中享有极高的人气。
