关于这种疾病
Soft-bodied insects covered in white waxy fluff that hide in leaf axils, stem nodes, and roots. They reproduce rapidly and can spread throughout a plant if not caught early.
主要症状
- White cottony or powdery masses may appear in leaf axils, stem nodes, or at the base of the plant
- Leaves and stems may become sticky from honeydew secretions
- New growth may be stunted, distorted, or slow to emerge
- The plant may weaken and leaves may yellow and drop if infestations go untreated
主要原因
- Introduction via purchased plants or soil, including root-dwelling species
- Plant stress from overwatering or poor ventilation increasing susceptibility
- Spread from nearby infested plants through contact or movement
- Hidden habit in leaf axils and roots making early detection difficult
预防(栽培环境与日常管理)
Quarantine newly purchased plants and carefully inspect leaf axils and root zones before placing them with other plants. Avoid crowding and maintain good airflow. Regularly examine all parts of the plant for early detection.
