象牙宮二刺是原生於南非東部至東開普省乾燥岩礁地帶的象牙宮品種。與肉質象牙宮類似，大部分塊根在地中發育，只有枝條從地表伸出。花為鐘狀，呈粉紅至玫瑰色，十分可愛，開花期間非常具有觀賞價值。因為產自南非，相比馬達加斯加產品種耐寒性較高，管理也較容易。管理的基本要點是直射日光和超排水性的介質。生育期間應適量澆水，冬季則保持乾燥。耐寒性相對較高，有時甚至能耐受短期霜凍。這個品種以其鐘狀粉紅花和地中塊根的栽培樂趣而聞名，是南非象牙宮的代表品種之一。
