紅邊石蓮（Echeveria agavoides）是原產於墨西哥聖路易波托西州等地的石蓮花原種。因其具有龍舌蘭般銳利尖細的葉片，名字「agavoides（似龍舌蘭）」由此而來。鮮豔翠綠且有光澤的葉片，搭配紅色至深紅色的葉尖點綴，十分優美，光照愈充足紅色愈明顯。成體蓮座直徑約10～20公分，在石蓮花屬中屬於相對較大的品種。作為原種，它生性強健易於栽培，也是許多園藝品種的重要親本。存在多個選拔品種如「晶體（Crystal）」「烏木（Ebony）」等。澆水應待土壤乾燥後再控制澆水量。最低氣溫約3～5℃時可安全越冬。可通過葉插和分株進行繁殖。
