白鶴芋（Spathiphyllum spp.）為原產於熱帶美洲與東南亞的天南星科多年生草本。英名為「和平百合」，具有潔白的佛焰苞（苞葉）與棒狀肉穂花序的美麗花朵，於春至夏季開花。耐陰性極強，為觀葉植物中最能耐受暗處的品種之一。缺水時葉片會劇烈萎蔫以示警，但給水後隨即恢復，是易於觀察的植物。土壤應保持略為濕潤，基本原則為常時濕潤，偏好濕潤勝於乾燥。NASA的空氣淨化效果研究已確認其能有效清除氨、苯等有害物質，有助於改善室內環境。葉片呈深綠色並具光澤，即使在非開花期也可作為室內綠化植物而美觀。初心者易於栽培的堅實常見觀葉植物。
