Watering
Underground micro organisms
Light & Placement
It prefers bright indirect light to weak direct sun. Avoid strong direct sun and place it in bright partial shade.
Watering
Keep the medium constantly moist with tray watering, using purified water or rainwater. As a semi-aquatic plant it must not dry out.
Temperature & Overwintering
The ideal range is 15-28°C. Bring it indoors in winter and keep it from falling much below that range.
Soil & Repotting
Plant in moist sphagnum alone or a peat moss and perlite mix. The traps are underground, so a deep pot suits it.
Fertilizer
Its underground Y-shaped traps catch protozoa and nematodes in the soil for nutrients. Fertilizer is generally unnecessary.
