朝鲜鹅耳枥是桦木科鹅耳枥属的落叶乔木，分布于日本、朝鲜半岛和中国东部。在盆栽中以"朝鲜鹅耳枥"名义流通，与鹅耳枥属其他品种关系密切。叶片小巧，秋季呈黄至橙褐色。细枝分叉优美，冬季枝条线条也具观赏价值。在盆栽中小叶和细枝分叉是主要特征，适合扫帚型和造型木等树形。树势强健、萌芽力强，修剪可使枝条变得致密。秋叶黄橙至红褐色，美感接近日本同属品种。养护喜阳光，亦能适应半荫环境。浇水需防干旱，夏季特别要勤浇。通过修剪和摘芽保持树形，清理不需要的枝条。换盆间隔为2～3年，春芽萌发前进行。
