关于这种疾病

Spider mites are tiny pests that proliferate rapidly in hot, dry conditions, feeding on leaf undersides and producing fine white or yellow stippling (flecking) on foliage. They are common on bonsai such as pine, maple, and azalea.

主要症状

  • Fine silky webbing is visible on leaf undersides
  • Fine white or yellow stippling (flecking) spreads across the upper leaf surface
  • Entire leaves take on a bleached, dull appearance and lose their gloss
  • Symptoms can spread rapidly from midsummer through peak summer heat

主要原因

  • Rapid mite population increase in hot and dry conditions
  • Insufficient watering leading to excessively dry foliage and soil
  • Poor air circulation in enclosed growing environments
  • Insufficient leaf misting when trees are kept under eaves away from rain

预防(栽培环境与日常管理)

Water consistently from mid-summer onward and mist foliage regularly to prevent leaf desiccation. Choose a position with good air flow and partial shade to avoid excessive drying. Inspect leaf undersides regularly for early detection.
