- Intermediate
- Lifespan
- 15-25 years
- Size
- 60-120cm (rosette diameter)
- Temperature
- -5〜38℃

- 30〜70%
- Light & Placement
- It prefers direct sun. It grows well in pots or in the ground, and as a coastal species it suits gardens near the sea.
- Watering
- Adapted to fog and sea moisture, it tolerates slightly damper conditions than other agaves. Still, water only after the soil dries.
- Temperature & Overwintering
- The working range is -5 to 38°C. Keep it above -5°C in winter, moving pots under eaves or indoors in cold regions.
- Soil & Repotting
- Use a well-draining mix. The rosette reaches about 60-100 cm across, so pot up as it grows.
- Propagation
- It offsets freely and forms clumps, so it can be propagated by division. Detach pups once they have grown to a reasonable size.
