- Growing Difficulty
- Intermediate
- Size
- 10-25cm
- Temperature
- 22〜28℃
- Watering
- CO2 + liquid fert (iron is key for red coloring)
- Lighting
- With enough light the leaf tips and stems take on a red tint. The higher the light, the stronger the red, so plant it where light reaches well even in the background.
- CO2 & Fertilizer
- CO2 injection and liquid fertilizer are the basis for colour. Iron in particular is the key to red, so replenish it regularly.
- Water Temperature & Quality
- Aim for 22–28°C and slightly acidic to neutral soft water. Given the right conditions, even beginners can handle it.
- Trimming & Propagation
- Growth is fairly fast, and it propagates easily by trimming and replanting. Grown in a group it adds soft colour to the background.
- Notes
- Prone to bleaching without nutrients. Supply N and K adequately
