True Rotala indica key facts

Growing Difficulty
Intermediate
Size
10-25cm
Temperature
22〜28℃
Watering
CO2 + liquid fert (iron is key for red coloring)
Lighting
With enough light the leaf tips and stems take on a red tint. The higher the light, the stronger the red, so plant it where light reaches well even in the background.
CO2 & Fertilizer
CO2 injection and liquid fertilizer are the basis for colour. Iron in particular is the key to red, so replenish it regularly.
Water Temperature & Quality
Aim for 22–28°C and slightly acidic to neutral soft water. Given the right conditions, even beginners can handle it.
Trimming & Propagation
Growth is fairly fast, and it propagates easily by trimming and replanting. Grown in a group it adds soft colour to the background.
Notes
Prone to bleaching without nutrients. Supply N and K adequately
