Green Rotala key facts

Growing Difficulty
Beginner-friendly
Size
10-30cm
Temperature
20〜28℃
Watering
Liquid fertilizer recommended + root tabs
Lighting
Prefers medium to high light and keeps its bright light-green colour even under strong light. Easier to grow than red Rotala types.
CO2 & Fertilizer
Grows fairly vigorously even without CO2. Regular potassium-based liquid fertilizer plus substrate fertilizer brightens the leaf colour.
Water Temperature & Quality
Aim for 20–28°C. In a stable tank even beginners can build a dense background bush with it.
Trimming & Propagation
Growth is medium to fast, and trimming once or twice a week keeps its shape. Replanting the cut stems increases density.
Notes
Fast grower. Regular trimming needed
