象牙宫·罗丝拉图是自生于马达加斯加中部至南部干旱岩石地带的象牙宫属植物。以"罗丝拉图"之名流通，特点是罐型至洋梨型肥大的块根和呈放射状展开的莲座状叶片排列。茎呈灰绿色，略有光泽，生有短刺。花呈鲜艳黄色，春至初夏开花。象牙宫属中相对易于获得，与格拉奇利斯并称为入门种。生长速度缓慢，但据称比格拉奇利斯略快。管理方面喜欢直射日光，适宜生长在通透性良好的超排水性土壤。浇水在生育期（春至秋）适度给予，冬季落叶后断水。耐高温能力强，但需注意梅雨季节长雨和过度湿度。耐寒性低，冬季应在10℃以上的室内管理。由于需求稳定且性质相对易于处理，是块根植物入门的最佳选择之一。
