莫氏卡特兰（Cattleya mossiae）是生长在委内瑞拉北部安第斯山麓、海拔800～1600米季节性干湿交替的落叶林中的着生兰，属原生卡特兰种。作为委内瑞拉的国花，也被称为"母亲节兰花（复活节兰花）"。植株高30～50厘米，具有单叶假鳞茎。花径14～20厘米，花特别硕大，花瓣呈淡粉红至深玫瑰色，唇瓣为紫红色，具有褶皱装饰和丰富的黄色喉部，华丽非凡。花期为春季（4～5月），每个假鳞茎可开花2～5朵，散发甘甜香气。栽培管理上喜明亮的间接光线，需确保最低温度15℃以上。冬季至春初通过控水模拟干季对花芽形成有效。使用树皮和轻石等排水良好的基质进行栽植较为适宜。
