Paphiopedilum concolor is a small, charming member of the lady's slipper orchid family, naturally found growing on limestone rock faces. Its rounded, cream to pale-yellow flowers are speckled with fine reddish-purple spots, giving each bloom a soft, freckled look. Plants typically produce just one or two flowers per short stem, and the blooms carry a faint scent reminiscent of apples. With leaves around 15 cm long and flowers about 7 cm across, it stays compact and manageable in size. That said, its watering and placement needs are exacting, making it better suited to growers who already have some Paphiopedilum experience. Every Paphiopedilum species is listed in CITES Appendix I, which makes it an Internationally Endangered Species under Japan's Act on Conservation of Endangered Species (種の保存法). Transferring a plant within Japan, whether by sale or gift, requires a registration certificate under that Act, and this applies to plants propagated in Japan too. When buying, always confirm that the plant comes with its registration certificate.

開始照料同色兜蘭前需要了解的7件事
1放在明亮的半陰處
直射日光會導致葉片灼傷，所以明亮的間接光（如通過蕾絲窗簾的柔和光線）的窗邊最為適合。要避免強烈的西曬，放在通風良好的位置有助於防止植株腐爛。
