Bolbitis key facts

Growing Difficulty: Intermediate
Lifespan: Perennial
Size: 15-30cm
Temperature: 22〜26℃
Watering: Liquid fertilizer
Lighting: Can be grown under low to medium light. Too much light encourages algae, so keep the lighting modest.
CO2 & Fertilizer: CO2 injection is recommended, though even a small amount is effective. A small dose of liquid fertiliser is all the feeding it needs.
Water Temperature & Quality: Aim for a water temperature of 22-26°C. Its soft leaves sway in the current, so place it where a moderately strong flow reaches it.
Substrate & Attachment: Grow it with the rhizome attached to driftwood or rock. Do not bury the rhizome; tie it on with fishing line and wait for it to take hold.
Cautions: Growth is slow, but once established it grows steadily for a long time. Be patient and avoid moving it frequently.
