Overview
Nepenthes edwardsiana is an ultra-rare highland species endemic to Mount Kinabalu and Mount Tambuyukon in Sabah, Malaysian Borneo. It is celebrated above all for its extraordinarily beautiful peristome—an elaborately toothed, wide-ribbed collar considered by many enthusiasts to be the finest of any Nepenthes species. The pitchers are elongated and cylindrical, and upper pitchers in mature specimens display the full ornamental complexity of the peristome.
