Haworthia Cooperi key facts

Growing Difficulty
Intermediate
Lifespan
10+ years
Size
3-8cm
Light & Placement
Bright partial shade is ideal. Direct sun causes leaf scorch and clouds the translucent windows, so place it by a shaded window.
Watering
Water sparingly after the soil dries. It tolerates low light and grows in a bright indoor spot, but the soil dries slowly there, so be careful not to overwater.
Temperature & Overwintering
Hardy only to about 5°C. In winter keep it in a bright indoor location that stays above 5°C.
Soil & Repotting
Use a well-draining mix based on kanuma and akadama soil. The roots are thick, so use a deeper pot and repot when it becomes root-bound.
Propagation
Dividing offsets is the most reliable method. It can also be raised from leaf cuttings or seed, and hybridizing is popular.
