- Being variegated, it has little chlorophyll and is sensitive to direct sun. Keep it in bright indirect light, such as behind a sheer curtain, hanging or trailing from a shelf.

- Overwinters at minimum temperatures of 5°C or above. In winter keep it on a bright indoor windowsill and water even less.
