Cultivation is easy: it likes full sun but appreciates part shade in peak summer. Water thoroughly when the soil dries in the growing season and sparingly in summer and winter, using free-draining soil. Keep it above 5°C, moving it to a bright indoor spot once temperatures drop below about 10°C. Mature plants bear cream flowers and edible sweet fruit.
